Daytona Outdoor Power is now a full service dealership for Wright mowers.
Wright Manufacturing started the Stand-On revolution back in the 90’s in Frederick, MD. During the many years of owning and operating his own landscaping company, Bill Wright innovated new mowing technology and invented the grass gobbler in 1983, the Velke Sulky in 1988, and the stand-on mower in 1997.
Commercial Stand-On Wright Mowers
Wright standers are now more refined, agile, and well-balanced than ever before. They specialize in commercial stand-on lawnmowers, and also make sturdy sport models with a seat conversion, and they have commercial walk-behind lawnmowers, and even a couple of seated commercial zero-turn mowers too.

Optional Sit or Stand-On Wright Mowers
There are sit on mowers available from Wright Manufacturing. That could be a zero turn mower or a stander with a seat attachment.

Commercial Walk-Behind Wright Mowers
Wright also offers walk behind mowers like the Velke gear drive models.

Are Standers the Best?
Wright Mowers believes that standing is the best way for commercial landscapers to work. They developed the first stand-on sulky and a decade later they developed the first stand-on mower. They have been perfecting the concept ever since. With standing lawnmowers, pros can do what they have to do, and that’s get on and off the machine repeatedly throughout the day. Doing so from a seated position among controls is a pain. On the subject of pain, doctors will tell you that sitting is the worst position for your back. Anyone with back problems knows it is better to stand. If you sit on a machine cutting grass all day, you’ll feel it in your back. Why go though it? Standing is a more ergonomic work position. Sitting for long periods of time causes numerous issues including tight hipflexors, hamstrings, and lower back fatigue. The Wright Stander has a shorter length than any other mower of the same width. This lets you cut those hard to get spots, saving time trimming. You’ll also be able to pack more machines on one trailer. Wright mowers get the job done with less time and fuel; efficient and fast. As far as safety goes, a stand-on lawnmower’s open platform allows you to bail out if you feel uncomfortable running the machine in any scenario.
Walk-behinds are agile and light. ZTRs are powerful and fast. Wright mowers combine all these attributes into one powerful package.
Their Stander has the best weight distribution of any stand-on mower because the engine, transmissions, deck, and platform are as close to the center of rotation as possible.
Wanna demo one? Come here and see them for yourself. Bring your trailer because you’re really gonna want one or two of ’em.
